Interpreting the results of a survey conducted in conjunction with World No Tobacco Day!
Several years have passed since the revised Health Promotion Act came into effect in April 2020, and the National Cancer Center, a national research and development agency, conducted an online survey to examine how awareness of passive smoking measures has changed. This reflects the understanding of the revised Health Promotion Act and passive smoking after several years have passed since the legal amendment. The survey targeted 2,029 men and women aged 18 and older, consisting of 1,000 smokers and 1,000 non-smokers. (Survey conducted by Neo Marketing Co., Ltd.) As a result, it was found that 52.2% of respondents were unaware that measures against passive smoking had been strengthened. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related link.
